Following the suggestion at the AGM that people may like to know more about what goes on at the Management Committee meetings, it was decided to share a summary of key points after each monthly meeting.
Here is the list of points from the October Management Committee meeting:
- Our new staff, Aimee and Dianne, are settling in well
- The new storage area is making it much easier to hold and manage more stock
- The second lockdown is being used for a wider trial of our new online store (orders by email and phone are still welcome!)
- A new financial report shows improved management of sales and margins, although Covid-related expenses reduced the profit from increased sales during first lockdown to being comparable to the same period last year
